BCU established the first Confucius Institute of Chinese medicine in the European mainland
The first Confucius Institute of Chinese medicine in European mainland was officially founded by BCU and University of the Republic of San Marino on March 29th, 2015. This first Confucius Institute, which was established by private university, vocational college and foreign university, represented the milestone on the Chinese history of vocational education development and private education. In addition, the Confucius Institute not only was a breakthrough program made by Chinese private and vocational education for spreading the Chinese culture and higher education in the world, but also stood for a new step of Chinese private and vocational education development.
Chinese Ambassador to Italy and San Marino Li Ruiyu, and Captain Regents (head of the country) of the Republic of San Marino Gianfranco Terenzi and Guerrino Zanotti attended the opening ceremony. The dean of Italian Confucius Institute, president of Italian overseas Chinese Commercial chambers and community leaders were invited to the opening ceremony of San Marino Confucius Institute.
